Protect deliverability and avoid common mistakes

You have built the list, lead magnet, welcome sequence, and broadcast workflow. All of it depends on one condition: messages must reach the recipient. This is deliverability.

Authenticate your sending domain

Mailbox providers use technical records to check whether a sender is authorized to use a domain. Kit may ask you to add DNS records for SPF, DKIM, and possibly DMARC.

Follow Kit's current instructions exactly because the required host names and values belong to your account. If you are unsure, ask your domain provider or a qualified administrator for help.

Use honest subject lines and balanced content

• Avoid all caps and excessive punctuation.
• Do not use misleading urgency or promises.
• Include useful text instead of sending one large image.
• Keep the unsubscribe option visible and working.

No single word guarantees delivery or spam placement. Sender reputation, authentication, permission, engagement, and message quality all matter.

Common mistakes

Using a purchased list: Send only to people who gave informed permission. Purchased or scraped lists can violate platform terms, applicable law, and recipient trust.

Sending only sales messages: Useful, relevant emails give readers a reason to keep opening.

Disappearing for months: Choose a realistic rhythm and keep it. Consistency matters more than high frequency.

Skipping the test: Send a test to yourself, check personalization, links, mobile layout, and the unsubscribe footer before sending to the list.
