Check the Etsy payment path for your country
Etsy Payments availability and the need for Payoneer depend on the seller country. Use Etsy's live eligibility table before opening accounts or following an old tutorial.
Your first sale appears in the Etsy payment account, but the path from that balance to a bank depends on the country registered to the shop.
Start with Etsy's current country table
Open Etsy's official list of countries eligible for Etsy Payments. The page identifies supported countries and marks the countries where sellers must use a Payoneer Payment Account.

Do not infer the requirement from a neighboring country or an old video. Use the country attached to the Etsy shop and the current symbol or note in Etsy's table.
The standard flow
Where Etsy supports direct bank deposits, the simplified flow is:
- A buyer pays through an available Etsy payment method.
- Etsy records the transaction in the shop payment account.
- Etsy applies fees, refunds, reserves, or other account adjustments.
- An available balance becomes eligible for deposit.
- Etsy sends the deposit to the verified bank account on the configured schedule.
- The bank completes its own processing.
